    leaving

    You still love her
    You don't know me yet
    So I'm leaving
    before you do
    So don't whisper
    Don't wonder
    Don't miss her
    Just go and find her

    I make your choice
    I make your wisdom
    I make you fall
    from your resistance

    I will think
    that I'm just too late
    I will think hard
it has nothing to do with me
    So I'm leaving
    while I'm stronger
    I'm leaving
    because our love is younger

PS: I simply love her voice, Sophie Zelmani. Her songs are beautiful, like 'going home', 'breeze'...which I had played many times here. There is a touch of sadness in this song. What I like here is the simplicity, the lyric. The most complicated feeling could be expressed in the simpliest way. Magical...words.

The belief in a supernatual source of evil is not necessary. Men alone are quite capable of every wickedness.

what's it like to be a professional interpreter

    Amazing. Exciting. And dreadfully cool.
    That's what an outlooker sees.
It's a kind of life not everyone can experience, or even imagine. Some say they are trained. Some say they are borned. The life of a professional interpreter charms, expecially that of a successful one. Anyone other than the interpreter him/herself may not trully see it through. A life of a freelancer, a life of mind-reader, a life of so called Golden-bowl.

Recently I met one, a professional. Many people may have the experience of being an amateur interpreter, but not a professional one. It's like chasing something for a life time, but never can reach---perfection. The more you learn, the more you have to learn.
She has a delightful personality. Compared to what she has achieved, she is exceptionally young. She talked about what's the life of an interpreter like. One has to be strong not only mentally, but also physically. Get prepared to get up at 6, or earlier than that, and go to bed after 2, sometimes 4, midnight of couse. Not always the case, but one has to be ready for any overtime work. Before taking any interpreting task, one MUST be well prepared. The guy pay you 2000 a day doesn't want you get stuck and say: I don't know. One may not always get appointments, which means, he, or she, may be wealthy at times and become penniless other times.Being a freelancer takes risks. Make your name heard, and remembered...

But when you are there, you are there.

    I said

I said I will never speak to him again. Why...  Did I do it out of politeness? Was I trying to avoid awkwardness by doining another silly move? Awkwardness is contagious, like disease. Both of you could feel it. So why...
Let's call it fantasy. No matter what, just stop creating that. Simply stay calm, keep quiet, and play dead.
I know I might go to the other extreme. First, you wanna be kind. And then, for unknown reason, you feel something was wrong. So for safety's sake, behave yourself and know where you are.
